The complex was a technical college. It was built in simple industrial shed type buildings in about 1960. Over time the use was changed in 2000 the police occupied the building and made make shift alterations to accommodate the police garages where police vehicles are repaired. There were 10 buildings and a timber security hut which were all upgraded.
